Alltel and US Cellular have both announced that they will be making available to their customers Motorola’s latest MOTO Q9c, which will be available in lime or licorice. Alltel and US Cellular will be offering both MOTO Q9c iterations for $99.99 after mail-in-rebate under a two-year agreement. The Q9c will be available with Alltel beginning in April, US Cellular is expected to make it available during the summer of 2008.
The MOTO Q9c licorice (or a variation of black) comes with a silver sail band and the MOTO Q9c lime is edged in tin silver. The MOTO Q9c is equipped with a large 2.4-inch color display as well as a full QWERTY keyboard. The Q9c is a full-featured smartphone that offers other useful features including; 1.3 megapixel camera with flash and fixed focus, 128MB on-board memory with support for 32GB of external memory.
In addition to these features, the MOTO Q9c’s major feature is its mobile desktop applications which allow users to access the Internet even when they are on the go. The MOTO Q9c runs on Windows Mobile 6 and has mobile Microsoft desktop applications pre-installed which allows users to read, edit and create Microsoft Office documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
