During CES 2008, Samsung announced twenty-seven new LCD and plasma TV’s, all of which had not received price tags, until now. These new models range in size anywhere from a small 18.9-inches to the large 63-inch model.
Beginning with the Series 4 LCD models, which are lower-end 720p TV’s. These range in size from an 18.9-inch model up to 39.9-inches and retail from $429 up to $1,299. Next, we have the Series 5 LCD models, which are low-end 1080p models. These range in size from 31.5-inches up to a 52.2-inch model. They are priced from $1,099 up to $2,799. Next up is the Series 6 LCD models, which are the high-end 1080p models. These range in size from a small 19-inch up to the large 52.2-incher and are priced from $479 up to $3,199. Finishing up with the LCD models we have the Series 7 line-up and they range in size from 39.9-inches up to 52-inches. They retail from $2,599 and top out at $3,499.
Beginning with the plasma models, first up is the Series 4 line-up, these are the low-end 720p models, but are 3D ready. They are available in a 42-inch or 50-inch model and retail for $1,199 and $1,699 respectively. Next up for the plasma models we have the Series 5 line-up, which are the low-end 1080p, 3D ready series. The Series 5 plasma is available in a 50-inch model that retails for $2,299 and a 58-incher that retails for $3,599. Wrapping up the new models is the Series 6 plasma line-up, which are the high-end 1080p sets. They are available in a 50-inch, 58-inch and 63-inch model and retail for $2,599, $3,999 and $4,999 respectively.
