samsung with safariDid you know Samsung makes refrigerators? True, really tech-looking ones you can find in Lowes. Another surprise for you, this Samsung has a Safari browser. Yes, that Safari.

Samsung has been working with Apple to get the browser and it looks like this is going to happen. While the basic S60 browser was pretty good, bringing Apple branded software is an interesting move I suspect we’ll see lots more of. Way to go Samsung.

From its cool business card reader (this from a guy surrounded by stacks of cards from shows, chance meetings and those guys standing on every corner of Vegas…) to advanced task lists, Samsung pre-loads this baby with some great functionality tools to keep your day job moving. A standard 3mp camera, FM radio, music and video player, the entertainment side of the phone shines through as well.

At just over a 1/2″ thick, Samsung’s done a great job at making this phone interesting. Specs:

* Network: HSDPA (2100MHz) 3.6Mbps + EDGE/GPRS 900/1800/1900
* Display: 2.4″ QVGA 16M Color TFT
* Camera: 3-Megapixel Camera
* Operating System: Symbian 9.3
* S60 3.2
* Safari browser (full browsing)
* New Thematic UI
* Quick Office document viewer
* Push Email (Visto, Seven, Intellysync, Good)
* Advanced PIM Applications
* Music Player (MP3, AAC, AAC+, RA, AMR, WMA)
* Video Player (H.263 + AMR, MPEG4, Real One, WMV)
* FM Radio (RDS)
* Bluetooth v.2.0 EDR / USB 2.0 (Full Speed)
* Memory: 100MB internal memory + Micro SD up to 4GB
* Size: 103.5 x 50.5 x 13.5mm

Geared for Europe (awwwww) coming around August.
