Sony Ericsson officially announces the S302 phone snapper

Like we said yesterday, the Sony Ericsson S302 camera phone will be part of the official announcement that Sony Ericsson will make today. This compact camera phone belongs to Sony Ericsson’s Snapshot series which ironically doesn’t have too much to offer with its 2.0 megapixel camera resolution. However what made this phone worthy of being included in the series is the slew of add-on camera features that it carries including 2.5x digital zoom, photo fix and photo light features, picture blogging, video light and video recording functions.
Aside from its camera features, the S302 also boasts of other features which we already mentioned such as; a 2-inch TFT display, Bluetooth 2.0 (A2DP), USB 2.0, FM Radio and the Access NetFront browser and a 20mb internal memory with storage expansion via a Memory Stick Micro slot. In addition, the S302 will suppor GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900.
Still with no pricing details yet, this camera phone will be available by Q4 2008.
