The latest in our Microsoft Surface hands on series, brings another set of images. This set shows off how they do some of the stress testing on the machine. They are pretty solid and thorough, offering a stress test that runs a bunch of apps and simulates a lot of gestures down to a machine called “Petey” that looks sort of like a CAD table, but is really a fancy finger. They even (as seen below) have a webcam hooked up to “Petey” so they can set up the testing and make sure its running properly from a remote location. While it would not be the most exciting webcam to watch for hours and hours on end, it would still be neat to see, if at least just once to see how it works, but sadly they do not have that open for everyone to check out.

Keep reading to check out the pictures. Once we wrap up the picture part of this series, we also still have some video to show off, one of the videos will be of “Petey” in action. Also don’t forget to check out the previous posts in this hands-on series.
