BlackBerry Bold now available for purchase with Rogers

Of course, we already knew that today was the day that they BlackBerry Bold was moved to the available status for Rogers Wireless customers, however we can also give you the rest of the disappointing news that comes along with it.

First up, and perhaps most upsetting is the price. The BlackBerry Bold will retail for $399.99. And in addition that $399 comes along with the standard three-year agreement and requires a data plan totaling more than $45 per month.

Otherwise the features are what we expected and will include a 480×320 resolution display, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g, GPS, 1GB of internal memory, a microSD/SDHC card slot, a 2-megapixel camera with zoom and video recording capability, a 1500 mAhr battery as well as tri-band HSDPA and quad-band EDGE support
