Leaked images: Meet Kate, Sony Ericsson’s 5MP Cyber-shot

Nothing like living up to tradition with leaked images, these are just about as blurry as can be. But, needless to say they are reported to be of Sony Ericsson’s upcoming Cyber-shot which has been code named Kate.

As for details, Kate is expected to replace the current K770 and the details are very light as of now. What we can tell you is that it will feature a 5-megapixel camera and have a lens cover that is similar to the Sony D2 digital camera. It is also rumored to include auto-focus, a smile shutter and xenon flash. In addition to still images Kate is expected to also have video recording capability.

Pricing information is still unknown, however it looks like we can expect to see Kate hit the market sometime in Q4 of this year.
