TomTom GO-930
One problem many drivers face is rising gas prices. TomTom realizes this is a big problem for many consumers and they have recently announced their plan to help you save a little bit at the pump whenever you go for a drive and use your TomTom GPS. Many GPSs can tell you where the nearest gas station is, however, TomTom is taking that one step further by displaying the nearest and cheapest gas station around the neighborhood.

Unfortunately, not all of their models are compatible with this new technology right now, only the GO-930, GO 920T, GO-920, GO-730, GO-720, 330XLS, 330, 130s, and the 130 are compatible. TomTom will probably add more models that are compatible later on. If you own one of the aforementioned GPSs, then adding in this feature is a rather simple process. Basically, all you have to do is go to the TomTom website and download the necessary software. The software is compatible with both PC and Mac computers.

You might be wondering how TomTom plans to update their software and if it will cost any money. Unfortunately, it does cost some money, but it is really cheap ($14.95 per year) and will probably save you a lot more than it costs. The software is available as of now; let us know if you get this feature and if it works well.
