We have two company press releases here each with information about new products to make hooking up your electronics easily. The first company and product is PPC and their product is a patented locking HDMI cable that will keep all cables that it is hooked up with tightly fastened so nothing will fall apart. The other company and product is ezGear and their product is the ezSpace Wall Mount UFO, which is a uniquely shaped surge protector. First, let’s talk about PPC’s locking HDMI cable.
Basically, this locking HDMI cable is good when you want/need to hook up your DVD player, A/V receiver, DTV, set-top box, etc. to your TV, and you can do all this efficiently with one such cable. Now, the neat part about this cable that separates it from other cables is the locking mechanism in which it comes with. The locking mechanism provides up to 3x the strength in keeping cables connected than normal HDMI cables. The other nice thing about this cable is that it, essentially, works right out of the box because no additional hardware and adapters are needed. It is also Category 2 cable status meaning it provides full 1080p picture quality.
Lastly, it is available now and the 3 foot cable costs $48.99, the 6 foot cable costs $59.99, and the 12 foot cable costs $72.99. If you want to check out his cable and other PPC products, be sure to check out their CES booth.
Switching gears now, we have ezGear’s UFO wall mount surge protector, which has a very cool design, as pictured above. It comes with 6 separate sockets housing a total of 1050 Joule output, great for powering any electronic you throw at it. It features a LED indicator on the front, as well as a reset button near the LED screen.
Charlie Bernstein, President of ezGear, had this to say about their out-of-this-world product:
Again, if you want to learn more about this product, be sure to check out their CES booth for this and their other products.
