Sprint is trying everything possible to win over mobile phone users. Using its Boost Mobile brand, $50 a month will get you unlimited everything. Unlimited texting, calling, push-to-talk, everything for $50.
What’s the catch? Don’t expect a great phone or even great service since it’s using Nextel. I’m sure a lot of the Gadgetell editors would love this plan for their beloved Palm Pre. This new plan should be active starting January 22nd. Will this gutsy move pay off?

I noticed on so many sites that customer really seem to complain about Boost Mobile in terms of their service and calling area – they never seem to complain about the price. My brother is a Boost user with their $50 unlimited plan and couldn't be happier in terms of price and he seem to have decent service throughout Miami – I wish my plan was that well priced. I'm on the same network with Sprint except I pay more than $50 more for the same unlimited plan and supposedly have better coverage – at times that is up for debate. The point is – why would Sprint really feel the need to make the same plan avaiable under two names for the same vast price difference? Don't they realize how much people could save and how many customers they could attract or keep? I think it's time to email Sprint's President and let him know just how unfair this deal is for Sprint customers and how if Boost is part of our network, then we would like their price option – http://sites.google.com/site/sprintcustomersunite/
Kimberly I completely agree!! I am FURIOUS!! I have been on sprint for years and paying wayyyyyy to much money. I feel like Sprint has taken total advantage of me. I could be saving so much money but sprint has been telling me that they are the best service blah blah blah. BUT I COUld be using BOOST as a prepaid cellphone which is owned by Sprint! I am going to write that president. I'm glad people are bringing this up.
