Green Energy Machine

With the energy crisis threatening our environment, more and more companies are trying to come up with creative ways to save energy. Well, a small company called IST Company wants to go a step beyond that and actually make a product that can create energy.

The Green Energy Machine can use a building’s trash and convert it into heat and energy. This invention will not only cut utility costs, but also reduce the amount that needs to be spent on trash collection. The unit will convert 95% of the trash into energy while the other 5% is ash. The Green Energy Machine promises to be a clean energy as well, since it will not burn the trash to create the energy. Instead it will rely on the gasification process which will reduce emissions.

Due to the size of the unit, it’s a suitable choice for office buildings, schools and hospitals. It measures about the size of 3 parking spots and will have the ability to convert food, cardboard and plastics into energy. Metal and glass will still get sent to the recycling plant.

There is an initial investment of $850,000 required for the unit, but the company estimates that within 3 to 5 years it will pay for itself by cutting energy and trash collection costs.
