By the end of February, T-Mobile’s Android phone, the G1 will have been released in several more European countries. The G1 has already been introduced in Great Britain, so after February, it will have been introduced in a good part of Europe.
Basically, if you subscribe to T-Mobile, or are planning to, and live in The Netherlands, Austria, or Czech Republic, you will have a chance to get the G1 by January 30th. Now, if you live in Germany, it will be launched on February 2nd. Lastly, by the end of February, Poland should receive the G1 as well. The interesting thing is Germany will be receiving the G1 with a 2 year contract for only a Euro (which translate to about $1.33! Otherwise, it costs 450 Euros without a plan, which is pretty expensive.
It will be interesting to see how popular it becomes in Europe and how it compares to the popularity in the United States.
