Despite the fact that I am not ready to part with Firefox, it is hard to deny that Chrome does have some nice features, one of which is the most visited tab. Now, as part of the latest (currently beta) version of the Google Toolbar for Firefox, users will have easy access to some of their most visited pages along with recently closed tabs and recent bookmarks.
In order to take advantage of this new functionality, simply use the Ctrl + T key command or double-click to the right of your open tabs. Aside from having your favorite pages open easily, this could also be a big help when you accidentally close a tab that you were not finished with.
The new version of the toolbar is currently not compatible with Firefox 2, so those users would also need to upgrade their browser in order to enjoy the new features. Additionally, for those who still prefer to open to a blank tab or their favorite website, those options remain. Go ahead and download the latest Google Toolbar for Firefox by clicking here.
