New T-Mobile G1 update rolling out this week

If you are a member of the T-Mobile network, you’ll be able to access a new update this week for your G1 phone. The G1 has been a hot seller for T-Mobile since its release. The G1 has features like real time web browsing, one touch Google search, access to a 3G network, music player, 3.2 megapixel camera, and more.

This new update, known as 1.1 RC33, is a regularly scheduled maintenance release and can be performed over the air. It is expected that within the next two weeks that all T-Mobile G1 customers will have downloaded this update onto their phone. This new firmware update will include new features and software, although the company has yet to disclose what exactly customers can expect from the release.
