The Archos 10 netbook that was initially announced during CES is now available for order. As expected, the netbook will retail for $399.99 with a 3-cell battery or $449.99 with a 6-cell battery. As for features, the Archos 10 will offer a 10.2-inch display, 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, 1.3-megapixel webcam, built-in card reader and runs Windows XP.
So, as you can see, the Archos 10 does not offer any real change in the hardware department, however Archos is looking towards software and extras to attract some attention. The Archos 10 does have a nice software package installed that should handle the needs of most people and it also comes with a $50 credit towards the purchase of movies as well as 50 free song downloads from eMusic.
Additionally, you can also purchase a spare 3-cell battery for $59.99.
