Netflix does it again. Hooks up with Facebook Connect

Netflix just doesn’t sit still, does it? The latest news from Netflix is you are now able to share your movie ratings on Facebook using Facebook Connect. The whole procedure is simply going to a specific site and logging into Facebook Connect. If you don’t want your account hooked into Facebook, you can always opt out later.

Facebook Connect has taken off with plenty of sites and this is a very natural fit. Netflix has had social networking features on its site, but this should work much better. Plenty of folks love to share their opinions on movies. Also, I’m sure people would love to know their friends’ opinions on videos if they are looking to try out new things.

Netflix has already put its Watch Instantly feature on many set top boxes. They’ve also added The New York Times and Rotten Tomatoes as partners — the sites allow you to add movies to your queue from their movie review pages.
