Google’s down? Don’t panic.

If you’re trying to reach any Google services like Gmail, Google search, Blogger — they all seem to be down or very slow. A look at Twitter shows many of us are frustrated right now since we don’t have access to Google. Some are saying that Gmail is working fine for them. The majority is without. Going over to Google.com takes a very long time to load even on my 20Mbps connection.

Let’s not panic. I’m sure Google has to be on this, but I can’t check their official blog. Don’t forget that a long time ago, we all used different search engines to find information.

Maybe we should all go for a walk and hope Google’s back up when we get back. When there’s an official explanation, we’ll let you know.

Google's back up

Update: 12:11PM ET
It looks like the Googlefail that lasted a couple of hours is now over. Lots of people on twitter are reporting that their access to Gmail is back up. There’s no explanation on the Google Blog just yet.
