Hulu still rumored to be heading to the Roku set-top box

It would seem that the rumors claiming that Hulu will be coming to the Roku set-tip box just will not go away. Personally, I can only hope this means they are true, however time will tell if that is going to happen.

Anyway, in the meantime, the latest chapter in this rumor comes from an unlikely source, a source that many claim to read “just for the articles.” Yup, you may have guess it — Playboy Magazine.

In the most recent issue there was an article titled; “Hack Your Life: Death to Cable” and in there it was mentioned that “Roku promises Hulu support is coming.”

What doe this mean for those waiting? Unfortunately, nothing really, we will still be waiting. Especially considering a PR rep for Roku commented that they are “not sure” where that line in the Playboy article came from. In other words, this is still just a rumor. Of course, that could just be a way to deflect the truth until they can make an official announcement.
