HP has recently added to their ultraportable lineup with the introduction of the 13.3-inch ProBook 4310. In terms of pricing, the ProBook 4310 starts at $779, however depending on the options, that price could be increased. To begin with, the standard specs include a 13.3-inch display (matte or glossy) with a 1366 x 768 resolution, a 2.10GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/draft n, a 2-megapixel webcam and is running Windows Vista Business.
All things considered the price seems pretty reasonable for the above offering. That said, the ProBook 4310 will also allow you to add other items such as an optical Blu-ray drive, up to 8GB of RAM as well as built-in mobile broadband. In terms of battery life the ProBook 4310 is said to offer up to 5 hours and 15 minutes. Other standard features include three USB 2.0 ports, an ExpressCard slot, gigabit ethernet, a SD/MMC card slot as well as both HDMI and VGA outputs.
