HTC has recently announced the Tattoo, which once went by the name “Click” during its early rumor stages. The Tattoo is the latest Android-based smartphone coming from HTC and it will be running the Sense UI. The HTC Tattoo seems to be all about customization and personalization. According to Peter Chou, Chief Executive Officer, HTC Corporation,
“The HTC Tattoo ensures that you can create the most engaging and appropriate mobile experience through simple yet powerful personalization.”
Of course, the ease of customization make attract some, but the Tattoo also has a few other nice features such as the 3.5-mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot. Other features of the Tattoo include a 2.8-inch touchscreen display with a 240 x 320 resolution, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, an accelerometer, internal compass and a 3.2-megapixel camera.
As far as availability, unfortunately the news here is not as good as the specs. So far, HTC has stated that it will be available in Europe as of October and that it will “roll out in markets around the world in following months.” Additionally, a price has not yet been mentioned.
