GrandCentral will be shutting down as of today

Here is fair warning to any GrandCentral users who have not switched their account over to Google Voice. For those unfamiliar GrandCentral is the service that Google purchased and rolled into the Google Voice that we know today.

Anyway, for those that are still holding on to a GrandCentral account, pay attention because today is the last day to convert your account.

GrandCentral will be closing down tomorrow…please migrate to Google Voice if you haven’t done so already. Just login and follow the link.

Basically, it has come down to move it or lose it and as Google Voice is a free service it makes sense to take the few minutes that are required to convert your account so you will have it moving forward. Especially since Google Voice is still in a closed status.
