As of today, anyone looking for a pocket camcorder will have yet another option to consider when making a purchase. The latest comes by way of Flip, who have released the next generation of the Flip MinoHD.
The newly updated model features a few upgrades that should make it worthy of a purchase and include a bigger display (now 2-inches), an HDMI jack and double the memory. The MinoHD has 8GB of built-in storage, which will allow for up to 2 hours of recording time.
Other features of the MinoHD include a 2x digital zoon, built-in rechargeable battery and the ability to record at up to a 1280 x 720 resolution.
Additionally, the MinoHD is also sporting a new brushed metal finish and comes with software that allows for direct uploads to Facebook (in addition to YouTube and MySpace). In terms of pricing, expect to pay $229.99.
