Qualcomm FLO TV now available for sale

Although we were unsure of an exact release date, we did expect it to happen soon, that said, the FLO TV has officially gone on sale. And yes, the retail price is still set at $249.99, and with that comes the monthly subscription which will be as low as $8.99 a month. Of course, in order to see that $8.99 monthly price you will need to agree to a three-year commitment. But thinking positive, 9 bucks a month could be worth it for the simple reason that this little device could serve as a nice entertainment device for the child in your back seat. As long as you do not mind handing them a $250 gadget to play with. Anyway, in terms of availability, the FLO TV can be purchased at Amazon, Best Buy and Radio Shack. Also as an added bonus, for an unspecified “limited time” those that make a purchase will get the first 6-months of service for free.
