If your not tired of tablets yet, here is something that is not quite a tablet, but is much better than all of them. Ok, well not better in all aspects, just one. This display from 3M is the newest in multitouch technology. Instead of just two fingers like all other mutitouch boasting technology, this one supports ten. It is a great innovation that is not all that surprising to us; it was bound to come sooner or later. But now that I think about it, I am not quite sure what I would use that many fingers for. The only solution I can think of is for a CAD drawing like the one shown above to show movement of prototype parts or something similar. I can definitely think of quite a few games that would spawn from this kind of creation though…
Besides that, the 3M Display M2256PW is a 22-inch display with 1680 x 1050, HD resolution. It is a multitouch LCD meant for users who need to utilize more than two fingers with a fast response time. The display has both DVI and VGA video inputs along with audio input and USB ports. It is also Windows-7 compatible.
There is no shipping information or pricing information for this multitouch beauty but expect to pay a pretty penny for it.
