We all knew it was coming eventually, and today AT&T made it official. The cell carrier will soon start carrying Android phones. The announcement came today at the AT&T Developer Summit at CES.

With the exception of the Dell Mini 3, there are no announcements as to what phones specifically will be coming to the carrier, though some partnerships were announced. Those partnerships being HTC and Motorola. All are offering AT&T exclusive phones, which means any small bit of difference in design to denote a different name, like the Droid Eris. The Motorola phone will feature Motoblur (like the Cliq), but that’s the most detail that was given so far.
