JVC brings dual iPhone connection to car stereo

JVC showed off their new KD-R810 Bluetooth® Wireless Technology CD receiver with dual USB ports which can connect 2 iPod®/iPhone™ players. The receiver has two USB ports for connecting the devices directly for highest quality sound or via Bluetooth. The unit will cost $219 and will arrive in February.

The unit includes a wired microphone for Bluetooth phone calls. What excites us the most is Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP) which lets you access your phone book through the device without transfer. Should you miss transferring number from one device to another, JVC has your back there – they included the ability to manually transfer up to 400 numbers.

If you’ve been looking to upgrade your ride to Bluetooth and ditch the headsets, give this JVC unit a look. It does all the basics including detachable face, color-changing glow to match your car, oh, and it takes CDs too.

A special thanks goes out to Energizer for supplying the Gadgetell crew with Energi To Go battery packs, which allowed us to keep our gadgets charged on the run and focus more on finding good stuff at CES and not having to worry about sitting next to a power outlet. For more information on the Energi To Go battery packs you can visit EnergiToGo.com or visit them on Twitter at @energitogo.
