Moving past the traditional Swiss Army knives, Victorinox is getting a little more high tech with the Presentation Master. Of course, anyone that has been paying attention to Victorinox will be aware that they have already had Swiss Army style flash drives out for a while, but these latest are getting a little more high tech. And also keeping up with the fact that you cannot bring a pocket knife on a plane. So in that spirit, this latest announcement of the Presentation Master comes in the form of a Presentation Master and a Presentation Master Flight. Both of these models are essentially the same, except for the fact that they Flight version comes without the part that would get you in trouble with the TSA — a knife blade.
Feature wise, these have also gotten more high tech as compared to a regular flash drive. To begin with, they will be available in storage options ranging from 8, 16 and 32GB. And that storage will also be secured, which can be done by using the Biometric fingerprint scanner on the drive itself or by password.
Other features of the Presentation Master include a removable USB flash drive, laser pointer and a Bluetooth Remote Control that can be used to control things like PowerPoint presentations.
As of now, the Presentation Master is not yet available, though it is expected to be ready sometime around March or April of 2010.
