Sony has just rolled out an updated version of the VAIO P notebook for the European market. The new model is similar to the past, but has a few new additional features and some bright new exterior colors.
One of the most interesting was the addition of the accelerometer. With that you can use the little VAIO notebook in a portrait mode by simply turing it to the right or left. And with the trackball as opposed to a regular mouse, you will be able to scroll though any documents that you are viewing. Other changes include the addition of an optional Intel Atom Z560 processor and colors to include black, white, pink, green and orange.
Additionally, the VAIO P will feature an 8-inch (1600 x 768) display, a 1.86GHz Intel Atom Z450 processor, 2GB of RAM, 64GB SSD, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, build-in 3G and a battery that is said to offer up to 5 hours of run time.
As of now the updated Sony VAIO P will be available in June.
