AT&T branded BlackBerry 9800 Slider/Torch images

It looks like the not-so-shy BlackBerry Bold 9800 slider has been posing for more pictures. Of course, this is far from the first set of images that we have seen so far, but this is perhaps the most complete collection.

Either way, looking at gadget pr0n aside, these latest pics are crisp and clear but also confirm that (at least this model) is both the 9800 and a World Phone. Its also noted as running BlackBerry 6 and was described as being “near-final hardware.”

In other words, maybe we can stop looking at these images and get a real announcement, whether it be from RIM, AT&T or both.

  1. It looks really good and I love the trackpad over the ball but I have had nothing but trouble with AT&T… *Bangs head on desk*

  2. My sources suggest say this is indeed the final hardware of the new BlackBerry. Perhaps the most significant aspect, apart from the screen keyboard, is the improved WebKit browser, bringing BlackBerry browsing in line with the rest of the industry.

  3. Disappointing to see light leaking out of the sides of the screen much like with the Storm 1. Or correct me if I am wrong and it is just external light reflecting off of the metallic edges of the casing (but I don't think it is).

  4. yeah thats the chrome edging thats reflecting light from another source…i can see why you would think that as it does look like that, but it isnt…blackberry devices are not that cheap. light from inside the phone would be showing on the edges of a blackberry device
