Pogoplug is putting your printer online, giving you the ability to print from anywhere & any device

It looks like Pogoplug has been busy lately, it was just last week when they announced the updated Android app and today they have returned with some good news for those looking to print from mobile devices.

“Pogoplug, the popular multimedia sharing device, today announced a major upgrade with the launch of Pogoplug “web printing.” Now, for the first time, users can print from an iPhone, iPad, Android or other mobile device from anywhere in the world.”

Yup, thanks to Pogoplug we will soon be able to print from just about anywhere we may be using any device that we have in hand. The new printing functionality is going to arrive as a free update for current users sometime this summer. Though no specific availability date was given yet. As far as printer support, you will not need to install any special drivers and it is said to work with “all HP printers and Epson printers released since 2005.”

And just like that I now have another reason why the Pogoplug will remain plugged into my home network.
