Based on the latest in the rumor mill, Apple has plans to charge iPad users for the privilege of updating to iOS 4 when it comes available sometime this fall. This story is coming by way of an “anonymous source” who claim that a charge for iOS 4 is “definite.” That said, Stuff.tv is siding with the rumor stating that “they don’t think they’re wrong.” Personally, I am NOT believing it. Of course, it would not be the first time that Apple charged for an upgrade, after all many users end up paying for the iPod touch updates. And back to my reasoning behind being a non-believer — the iOS 4 update was free for iPod touch users this go around. And based on that, why would Apple decide to charge iPad users?
