Further evidence of the Motorola Droid 2 launching with Android 2.2 Froyo

Yesterday brought us the image of the Motorola Droid 2 settings screen which clearly displayed the version of Android as 2.2. And just in case we needed anything further to suggest that the Droid 2 would arrive with Froyo — here is another piece of evidence. Granted this bit is not quite as exciting to look at, its an image of an internal Verizon database, nonetheless it shows that the Motorola Droid 2 will have Android 2.2 as the operating system. Just like that, anyone looking for an Android handset on Verizon now has good reason to hold off on making a purchase.
