Sprint branded ZTE Peel 3G case for iPod touch spotted at FCC

Carrying an iPod touch and wishing that it was 3G ready? Well, assuming the item in this FCC listing actually comes to market — your iPod touch will not only be able to access the Sprint 3G network, but it will also be able to serve up 3G by way of a mobile hotspot. The device — the ZTE Peel 3G, which is a 3G equipped case that is clearly wearing the Sprint brand. The case is said to serve as a mobile hotspot for other devices, use the iPod touch Wi-Fi to connect and also has a built-in battery so not to put any extra strain on your precious Apple device. And while this all looks very interesting we are still missing those important details — namely the price and release date. Of course, its likely to assume this will come along with a two-year agreement on Sprint. But then again, you will be able to make calls over the 3G connection from your iPod touch and then it will almost be like an iPhone.
