For those constantly cursing the amount of storage available with your portable advices, more specifically the iPad, well Sanho is here to change that. Today they have released the Sanho HyperDrive iPad Hard Drive with crazy amounts of storage options: 120GB ($300), 160GB ($350), 250GB ($400), 320GB ($450), 500GB ($500), 640GB ($550) and the Mount Everest of iPad external 750GB ($600). Absolutely need all 34,000 songs in your iTunes library, done. Can’t sleep on the plane and plan to rip your entire DVD collection for that flight from NYC to Stuttgart, done.

The HyperDrive iPad functions like your normal external, simple drag and drop management allows you to load whatever you need. To transfer data to the iPad from HyperDrive connect the HyperDrive to the iPad with Apple Camera Connection Kit and standard USB cable, that simple. According to Sanho, to sidestep the 32GB size limit limitation of the Apple Camera Connection Kit they used a “patent pending ability to turn individual file folders into virtual 32GB drives on the fly that are readable by the iPad.” Quite ingenious but Apple has never taken lightly to work-arounds with their products. Stay tuned on that one.

But for the time being, looking to beef up your portable library and still keep your iPad around we strongly suggest you consider this nifty external option.
