New App Store app lets you grocery shop from home

Global grocery and general merchandising retailer Tesco wants your grocery business but doesn’t mind if you stay home to do it. The UK’s retailer plans to release an app store application that allows Tesco account holders to browse the shelves without leaving, well, wherever you are. Head of R&D at Tesco Nick Lansley’s blog indicates that the demand for the app has now reached over a million requests.
Currently development is exclusive only to Apple device owners but reports show that Tesco’s quickly recruiting Android and Blackberry devs as well.
