Google updates Voice app on Android to include widgets

The Inbox app adds your text messages and voicemails to the home screen and from there you can read through texts and voicemails to find the one you want. If you take a look at the picture above, you’ll seen an example of how the Inbox widget works. The second widget is the Settings widget, which gives you quick access to Google Voice, the ability to compose and send text messages, change dialing preferences, and a “Do Not Disturb” option which sends all Voice calls straight to voicemail.
For the avid Voice user on Android, these new widgets should definitely be helpful in improving Google Voice efficiency.
