Verizon Wireless reportedly ending data plan requirements on 3G capable feature phones

It looks like Verizon is going to be making some changes in terms of 3G capable feature phones in the upcoming quarter. The news is coming by way of a leaked Verizon document and clearly states that;
Of course, that does not mean you will not get the hard sell from overeager Verizon employees when making a purchase. After all, they are still expected to make the offer all the same. Otherwise it looks like a few new devices that will be hitting the feature phone category in the coming months will include the Pantech Crux and the LG Octane.
And for those sporting a 3G Multimedia Phone, the $9.99 data package will still be required.
