Look what we have here. It seems that the rumored Windows Phone 7 dubbed Samsung Focus which is supposed to be released by AT&T on November 8 is not going to be the first Windows 7 phone after all. In fact, it seems that there will be two Windows 7 phones, the Samsung Omnia 7 and LG Optimus 7. Details of both phones were revealed from the Samsung Russian site and the LG UK Blog.

So what are we looking at here? Let’s start with the Samsung Omnia 7. Said smartphone will have a 4-inch Super Amoled display with touch controls, 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 processor, 5MP camera, 8GB internal storage, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi and HSPA. In addition, the Samsung Omnia 7 will also support Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE and Zune.

The LG Optimus 7 on the other hand will have a 3.8-inch screen with 800×480 pixels, 5MP camera with HD video capture, 16GB of memory, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Of course, release dates and pricing details of these two smartphones are still unknown. Hopefully we’ll know later on together with other Windows 7 smartphones that might be announced by Microsoft.

In the meantime, how do you find these two smartphones so far? Can these smartphones compete in the market?
