Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1010, aka the Wi-Fi only Galaxy Tab makes the required FCC appearance

We have already seen that Best Buy will be selling a Wi-Fi only model of the Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet. And given that, this FCC listing just means that availability is one step closer to reality. Bottom line here, the Wi-Fi only Galaxy Tab has crossed paths with the FCC and is sporting the model number of GT-P1010. Otherwise, with the exception of the 3G module the specs are going to remain the same. Well, the same with one uncertainty, some have been speculating that the Wi-Fi only Galaxy Tab will also lack the GPS receiver. Not the best news, but considering the same rule applies to the Apple iPad it would not be all that surprising.

This is really good news if it proves to be true. Iv spent the past week searching the Internet for the <a href="http://www.freegalaxytab.com/" target="_blank">best Galaxy Tab offers simply because I really want a Tab, but I don't want to be tied down to lengthy and expensive phone charges. The WiFi model is exactly what I need!
