Virgin Mobile is set to launch another mobile broadband offering as of this morning. The plan will be a step down from their current $40 per month unlimited offering, but should be nice for those with not quite as much need for data. The new plan, which is a Broadband2Go plan will include 1GB of data for $20 per month. And same as the other Broadband2Go plans, this will be contract free and on a month to month basis. As far as signing up for the plan, those interested will need to purchase a Virgin Mobile capable modem, we suggest the MiFi 2200 which sells for $149.99 though there is also a USB modem available for $79.99. Lastly, the plan is expected to be available by way of the Virgin Mobile website as well as Walmart. [Update] Turns out this is an exclusive offering with Walmart and at present the 1GB plan is not available on the Virgin Mobile website. That said, it is available as of now.
