A short while back we began to see Google Voice calling come into Gmail, and now it looks like that support is extending to call recording. According to both TechCrunch and Lifehacker, the little red record buttons are beginning to show up in the “Call phone” section of more and more users Gmail accounts. Personally, mine still has not been given the option to record. That said, it is simple enough, once in a call you can hit the button and record the phone call that you happen to be on. Of course, this is the same as you can already do when making a Google Voice call with a regular phone and hitting the number 4 option. That said, according to the details we have read so far there is a catch — you cannot record calls that came to you, only outgoing calls. Otherwise, I guess this is a nice option to have available.
