Remember the Asus E600 Windows Phone 7 that was spotted in the wild a couple of months ago? Since then we have not heard anything about it, until now. Said phone was reported to have reached the FCC table, and the document filing even comes with several new photos of the Windows Phone 7. Another new development regarding the said phone is the fact that it bears the 850/1900 MHz bands which is what AT&T is using.
Also the said FCC document for the Asus E600 indicates that the Windows Phone 7 device might have a 4-inch display, a 5MP camera with LED flash, and it might come with a a 1300mAh battery.
Design-wise, said phone has a brushed metal chassis with a slim form factor. Other things that were indicated by the FCC document include a volume rocker, camera key, microUSB port, lock/power key and 3.5mm audio jack at the topmost part of the phone.
Incidentally, in case you already forgot, the said Asus Windows Phone 7 device was already used by Microsoft developers when they were still testing Windows Phone 7. To help you remember, check out the video after the via link.
Of course, you know the drill right? With the device already on the FCC table, it might just be a matter of time before we get a US release pretty soon.
