Telus extends free HTC Desire offering till December 31st

It looks like Telus has kept the free HTC Desire offer in place until the end of the year. The latest details call for the Android handset to be free for those willing to sign a three-year agreement and will be in effect though December 31st. Certainly not a bad deal, and for those looking to shorten that three-year commitment a little bit there is always the option to pay $349.99, $399.99 or $449.99 for a 2 year, 1 year or contract free offering. Needless to say, while three years is a long time to commit to a smartphone these days, your best bet is probably to go the free route.
