It is that time of year when we start hearing nothing more than things along the lines of ‘coming early next year’ and of course, that often means during CES which takes place in early January. Anyway, that seems to be the case with the BenQ R100 tablet which is said to be running Android and set to arrive sometime in “early 2011.” Needless to say, there is nothing official and no mention of what the price may end up being. On the other hand though, there are some specs and those include a 10.1 inch touchscreen display at 1024 x 600, 833MHz Samsung ARM processor, 8GB internal storage, SD card slot, mini-USB, mini-HDMI, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Oh, and a battery that is said to be able to offer up to 12 hours of run time. Lastly, while the R100 is going to be Android, there was nothing given as to which version that would be.
