According to a report from the Korea Times, LG and Samsung will be offering some nice devices in terms of tablets. LG is expected to enter the market with the Optimus Pad, featuring a 8.9 inch touch screen and operating on the upcoming version of Android — Android 3.0. Samsung will have on display the successor to the Galaxy Tab, the Galaxy Tab 2, which is expected to show off a Tegra 2 processor and operate on Android 3.0 as well. Perhaps we will see the Galaxy Tab 2 with a larger screen similar to that of the current iPad.
Of course, these are still rumors, but are being reported by credible sources. We will know more when CES 2011 rolls around starting on January 6, 2011.
