What would you say to a phone that could video conference in 720p — similar to your friend’s rear facing camera resolution? What would you say to a phone that has a theoretical storage space of 144GB? Too good to be true, right? Well, it certainly sounds that way but a German website is reporting possible specs for the HTC Thunderbolt 4G device that is expected to be announced at CES 2011.
As mentioned in the title and in the rhetorical questions I posted, the HTC Thunderbolt reportedly features a 5MP front facing camera, 8MP rear facing camera, 128GB SDXC memory card support, 1.2GHz Snapdragon MSM8960 Dual-Core processor, 4.3 inch touch screen, Android 2.3, kickstand, and 16GB of internal storage. These specs are pretty hard to believe and I would be astounded if HTC announces such a phone in a week. However, if the Thunderbolt comes even close to matching these specs, I think Verizon Wireless just found a new flagship device to stay for sometime.
