HP announces February 9th press event, promises an “exciting webOS announcement”

With CES upon us you would think that any product announcement would be coming out of Las Vegas at this point. Well, it seems as if HP has some other plans and have decided to wait until February 9th to unveil their latest. The details are sparse and come by way of email invitation. So far all we can tell you is that HP will be making an announcement and it will be webOS related, in fact they promise an “exciting webOS announcement.” Taking that and speculating a little bit and it seems this may be a few products, or at least more than one. At least that is the way it seems when you read the “thing big think small think beyond” portion of the invitation.
