The Pipsqueak
The Pipsqueak seems like the kind of device that should have existed for a while, and is surprisingly just being made. The Pipsqueak is a small, shiny device that connects to your phone via Bluetooth and clips to your belt, or wherever you might want to clip it.

When connected to your phone, the Pipsqueak will alert you to incoming calls so you can ignore them, put them on hold or get your phone and answer them. When holding a call, the caller hears a prerecorded message saying you’ve activated the wait feature on The Pipsqueak, and you’ll be with them shortly. Aside from calls, Pipsqueak can display date and time, and alert you when it leaves the Bluetooth ranger of your phone (about 30 feet), so you don’t forget it.

The Pipsqueak seems to solve a problem not all of us have. The easy answer would be to just deal with taking out your phone, or don’t forget it. It seems like the small device would be great, however, for those who keep their phones in a purse or bag, or the forgetful. If it sounds like a good idea to you, The Pipsqueak will be available this summer for $59.
