ViewSonic ViewPad 4

Frankly, I really don’t understand why ViewSonic has to categorize its just announced ViewPad 4 Android tablet, still as a tablet when it can clearly be considered as a smartphone. But hey, it’s their product and they have all the right to categorize it whatever they want, so ViewSonic introduced the new ViewPad 4, a 4-inch Android tablet with full cellphone functionality.

Looking closely at the specs and features of the ViewPad 4 will convince you that indeed it’s a fully qualified Android tablet. What with features such as a 4.1-inch WVGA touch capacitive display screen. It’s also loaded with a Qualcomm MSM 8255 1GHz processor, 720p HD video recording and playback capabilities, 720p HD video display output on HDTV, a 5MP auto-focus camera, Bluetooth 2.1 and 802.11 b/g/n, and GPS/A-GPS.

Some fellow tech bloggers think that the ViewSonic ViewPad 4 is the most boring Android tablet announced at CES 2011. Well, based on its specs and the official photo – do you really think that this Android tablet could be boring as it gets?
