The last we heard (back in late-December) was that Google was planning to roll-out the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for Nexus One users. Anyway, at that time the update was said to be arriving “in the coming weeks” and as of today we have another (and equally vague) update to pass on. Anyway, the latest details are coming from Computer World who are citing a representative from the Android team who states that the roll-out should begin “soon.” With that, and based on the previous coming weeks and the now soon comments — we suspect Android 2.3 should be available for Nexus One users any day. Of course, that is just as vague as the others. But seriously, if you are sporting a Nexus One you may want to keep an eye out for an update notification.
